Pipal 2210D Embedded PC

With Pipal 2210D IPC2U extends its DIN Rail Embedded PCs product range. This embedded system is equipped with high-powered and energy-saving Intel Atom N2600 Dual Core 1.6GHz CPU as well as compact Intel NM10 chipset. Combined with the Intel 400MHz graphic core which supports AVC/H264, VC1/WM9 and MPEG2 compression standards, the Pipal provides sound graphic performance. In order to connect displays there is a VGA interface with max. 1920x1200 pixels resolution. An 18/24-bit LVDS with max. 1366x768 is optionally available. 

Numerous interfaces such as 1x Gbit LAN with Wake on LAN function and 2500VDC isolation, 2x RS232 with autoflow control, 2x USB and optional audio port as well as 8-bit GPIO port allow a flexible deployment of the device in different applications. Two further DB9/15 interfaces can be also available for optional extensions. 

The extensions can be accomplished via half-size miniPCIe slot. As mass storage a 2.5“ SATA HDD or a mSATA DOM module can be used, which can be installed over miniPCIe Slot with mSATA support. Up to 4GB DDR3 800MHz RAM can be built in via  1x SODIMM socket. 

The power input can be chosen between 12VDC default and optional 24VDC. 

The Pipal 2210D is very power-saving. It consumes 7W regularly, the maximal power consumption amounts to 10W. Low power consumption also allows fanless design and noiseless operations with SSD. Thereby the system is with (WxHxD) 66,5x130x100mm very compact. 

A 1-255s Watchdog Timer ensures that the system can be rebooted within 1s to 255s in the case of system failure. The system can operate within extended temperature range between -20°C and +45°C (with extended temperature HDD) or even from -20°C to +60°C (with extended temperature SSD).
