IPC2U announces: Pipal-2140 - the Embedded PC with the Atom Dual Core

IPC2U presents Pipal 2140 and Pipal 2140C - the high-powered and at the same time energy-saving embedded systems. The difference between these systems is that Pipal- 2140C is additionally equipped with  CAN Bus interfaces.

Based on the Intel Dual Core D510 CPU with 1.6GHz IPC2U provides the energy efficient and flexible deployable Embedded PC Pipal- 2140 with the modern Dual Core technology for the industrial area.
Freedom of mainanance by fanless and power saving operations makes this system a good choice for the deployment in industrial environments in the temperature range between -20 bis +50°C.

Pipal 2140 can be updated with up to 1.5GB RAM over SoDIMM socket.
There are 2x Gbit Realtek RTL8111C Ethernet Controller with Boot over LAN function for fielbus connection.
Moreover, the Pipal- 2140 is equipped with 4x USB 2.0,  2x RS232 with classic DSUB 9 connector, 2x RS232/485 Ports as well as 4x Digital I/O interfaces with 2.5KV isolation protection.
The area of utilization of the Pipal 2140C system is extended by integrated and isolated 2x CAN BUS 2.0B interfaces. The installation option of 2.5“ SATA HDD and Compact Flash each of these selectable as Master/Slave rounds the extensive Equipment of Pipal- 2140.  
Through the flexible power supply of 9 – 30V DC the system can be also deployed in mobile applications as well as thin client, data logger and  CAN BUS networks.
The extension of the system can be executed over 1x miniPCI and 1x miniPCIe slot.
