IPC2U announces: NViS 6210/6220 – hybrid 2U DVR/NVR for the Rack!

Video surveillance topic recently has become of great importance. No matter whether public place control, sales room surveillance or production plant monitoring – flexible and efficient surveillance is needed all over.

With the NViS 6210/6220 the IPC2U introduces such a solution. This Networking Video Recorder allows the record and playback of surveillance videos, which are transmitted by internet-based cameras. A special virtue is that the NViS can control digital and analog cameras with special adapters as well. This increases users’ flexibility significantly when configuring their security system. This hybrid NVR supports high-powered Intel Core i3/i5/i7 of the 2. generation, optimized for processing of demanding, high-resolution video content. A further advantage of these processors is the Intel vPro Technology, providing comprehensive remote management and maintenance tools for NViS 6210/6220. So, the administrator can acquire status information, change configuration, do BIOS adjustments as well as switch on or off the device. Particularly for large scale surveillance systems with several devices or big distance between NViS and administrator PC this tool is very useful.

What features the NViS of the 6200 series else?
For example, that up to 32 high resolution cameras can be connected. Or that the NVR can be enclosed in 2U chassis, whereas such devices usually are delivered in 3U or 4U chassis. Or up to 8x Hot Swap 3.5“ HDD Drive Bays, which can take up to 16TB HDDs. Data security is ensured by optional RAID mode. If additional functionality is needed, the system can be extended by 1x PCIe x16 slot.
NViS supports SDK (Software Development Kit) allowing development of customized applications.
The 6200 NViS series thus contains the devices, which unify the virtues of Digital Video Recorder and Network Video Recorder as they can control via Internet analog and digital cameras as well. The device has good price/performance ratio and can be used thanks to its flexible design for surveillance of buildings, public places or company premises.
