The NIFE 2310 is a modern fieldbus PC for factory automation as well as process monitoring and control for industrial production. The fieldbus computer is based on Intel CPUs and provides fanless design for harsh environments and extreme temperatures. It supports different protocols such as PROFINET and EtherCAT.

The Fieldbus PC uses high performance hardware

For computing power of the Fieldbus Computer there is Intel Atom D2550 with 2 cores and frequency of 1.86 GHz as well as 1MB L2 Cache. Up to 4GB DDR3 800/1066/1333MHz RAM can be installed in 2 memory slots. For operating system, further programs and data storage a 2.5” HDD SATA Drive Bay or a CFast slot can be used. As fieldbus computer the NIFE possesses a port, which can be optionally used for PROFIBUS, ProfiNET, DeviceNET, EtherCAT or Ethernet IP master kit. For Add In cards mini PCIe as well PCI slot can be used.

Reliable features mark Fieldbus Computer NIFE 2310

The NIFE 2310 was developed as gateway and control system for SCADA and provides all interfaces needed for this task enclosed in a resistant aluminium chassis, which is protected against shock and vibration. It can withstand (if equipped with CFast) up to 40G shocks in running operations and be used within wide temperature range between -20°C and +65°C. The device possesses 4x Gbit LAN ports as well as SIM card holder for redundant network connection. Further interfaces are 6x USB 2.0, 4x RS232/422/485 as well as 4x GPO/GPI. As graphic output interfaces are DVI-I and optionally DVI-D or VGA available making control of 2 Screen possible.
