IPC2U announces: IMBA-C2060 and IMB-C2060 - boards for demanding applications!

IPC2U presents the ATX Motherboard IMBA-C2060. The board was designed for demanding applications in industry, retail/ gross sales and digital signage area. IMBA-C2060 supports powerful Intel Xeon E3 or Intel Core i3 CPUs. With theoretically possible memory of 32GB DDR3 which can be placed in 4 sockets there is a splendid match to the high performance of the processors. A further outstanding feature is a high number of interfaces leaving no desires unfulfilled. Beside 10x USB 2.0 (2 external, 8 internal) and 2x USB 3.0 the motherboard offers 6x COM, 1x PS/2 KB/MS, 1x LPT as well as 4x SATA 3GBit/s and 2x SATA 6GBit/s with RAID 0/1/5/10 support. Also for data acquisition IMBA-C2060 is well-equipped with 4x DI/ 4x DO. In order to connect external displays there are VGA, HDMI und DVI-D connectors. Moreover, the IMBA is very flexible: it can be extended with additional functions over 1x PCIe x 16/ x8, 2x PCIe x4 and 3x PCI.
The motherboard can operate between -10°C and +60°C.

For customers, who need a higher number of COM interfaces or DI/DO and are constrained to smaller sizes of the board, there is a sister board IMB-C2060 available. Compared to IMBA-C2060 it offers 10x COM and 12x DI/ 12 DO. Thereby IMB-C2060 is 244 x 244mm large.
However, IMB-C2060 has to make compromises in some areas in comparison to its sister board. There is no LPT interface and there are less expansion slots (1x PCIe x 16/ x8, 1x PCIe x 16, 1x PCIe x 4 and 1x PCI slots).
The both boards are well-suitable for process control, process visualisation, video surveilliance, tests and digital signage.
