The AIV-APL1V1FL Embedded PC is basedon the Intel Apollo Lake SoC chipset which supports the Intel Pentium N4200 processor and up to 8 GB of D memory in one DDR3L SO-DIMM slot. Furthermore, the system is also equipped with two 2.5” HDD bays which are protected against vibration. If an SSD is used anti-shock protection is also active.

The AIV-APL1V1FL embedded system supports Windows 10 or Linux Kernel 4.4 and above. Three Mini PCIe expansion slots allow individual upgrades of the system equipment, like wireless interfaces such as Wi-Fi 802.11, CAN Bus (CAN 2.0A/2.0B protocols) Bluetooth and 4G LTE, which provides cellular access to the global IT infrastructure. Also, there are four SMA antenna holes for GPS, 4G, Wi-Fi, BT and two SIM card slots, which can be accessed without opening the case.
Due to the large variety of I/O interfaces, such as two video ports with VGA and DVI, two Ethernet GbE RJ45ports, four serial ports (1x RS232/422/485 and 3x RS232), four USB 3.0 ports and 8-bit DI/DO (4 In, 4 Out, for direct connection with sensors), the fanless embedded system AIV-APL1V1FL can read and control data from sensors and manage complex intelligent systems.
The AIV-APL1V1FL Vehicle PC is designed for harsh environments due to the extended temperature range from -25° to +60 °C, the rugged design and the IEC60068, CE, FCC Class B, E-Mark certifications. It can be used for telematics application to improve driver management, fuel economy and costs.
