With an efficient powerful Intel Celeron N3350 processor, 4GB of DDR3 RAM memory and an eMMC flash memory, the EACIL21-100-A464 is a compact and powerful IoT gateway. The fanless embedded system provides wireless and wired integration into networks and provides an optimized interface between industrial or technical processes and local servers or cloud applications.
With the Intel Celeron N3350, the IoT Gateway uses a dual-core processor-based 14nm processor with exceptionally variable clock speeds between 1.10GHz and 2.40GHz in Turbo Boost mode. The memory consists of a 4 GB LPDDR3 RAM on the fanless and rugged SBC motherboard.The EACIL21-100-A464 uses an integrated eMMC flash memory with 64 GB to 128 GB capacity for operating system and data. As an operating system, the IoT gateway supports version 16.04 LTS for optimizing protocols and a homogeneous IT infrastructure for both Microsoft Windows 10 IoT Enterprise and Linux.
Throughout its design, the fanless embedded gateway is laid out across the network in distributed and intelligent structures. Dual LAN with Gigabit Ethernet and a bandwidth of 10/100/1000 Mbit/s via RJ45 ports. Optionally, the IoT Gateway offers the integration of WLAN 802.11 to serve as a child client or as a central wireless access point (AP). Communication with peripheral hardware as well as input and output media is handled by the EACIL21-100-A464 via the universal, digital USB standard. As a standard interface, the IoT Gateway has two USB 2.0 ports, another type A provides an integrated DisplayPort (DP) for audio and video, USB data and a built-in power supply with a maximum of 15 watts of power at 5 volts AC and 3 amps amperage
With a width of only 100 mm, 115 mm depth and 35 mm height, the IoT Gateway has a compact design. As an embedded device, the device will consider mechanical components such as active cooling, 24/7/365 over long periods of time. The primary uses of the EACIL21-100-A464 include communication between local machines or endpoints and between M2M or H2M instances within the intranet. The most important task is automation in different environments, the Smart Factory of Industry 4.0 or buildings.
