Apacer Technology was founded in 1997. At that time, the only product produced was memory modules.
In 1999, Apacer introduced the market's first devices based on flash memory. Apacer not only added flash memory modules and USB drives to its product portfolio but also became the world's fourth-largest memory module provider. The company's focus on research and development in the field of developing end devices and digital data storage systems allowed Apacer to establish itself as a well-known provider of digital data storage systems.
In 2002, Apacer Technology positioned itself as an integrator of digital data storage systems. At the same time, Apacer released a range of new products that received high global awards.
In 2005, Apacer was recognized as the best provider of digital data storage devices.
In 2007, Apacer invested significantly in the development of embedded memory modules, propelling it to the forefront of industrial solutions.
The change in the memory module market model in 2009 led Apacer, with a stable position in the mentioned segments, to diversify its business by creating three divisions tasked with further strengthening the Apacer brand.
